Tanya asked:
I applied for a customer service job on yahoo hotjobs and recieved a email back about the company and a work at home opportunity. There are no fees to pay up front, just send in telephone number and confirming to work. They also sent a link with the company website and it should legit but not sure? anyone know anything else?

stay away, FAR away from companies like this !!!!!
Don’t ever send money to them even if they pay you. They often send a check that even the banks don’t know is a fake until it returns. They send you an amount that appears to clear and get people to send them cashiers checks for smaller amounts.
Also watch out for the mystery shopper jobs.
Glad you asked that one! I just got the same offer!
LB should be kicked off Hotjobs. They are scammers. They only want your personal information. They sell it for $20. That doesn’t sound like much but they get 10,000 “job-seekers” per month. Avoid them.
